Il saggio affronta l’irrisolta questione della produzione letteraria di Tizio Aristone, con particolare riferimento alla possibilità che il giurista sia stato autore di notae e all’attribuzione dei Pomponii digesta ab Aristone citati da Paolo nel quarto libro delle sue quaestiones. A seguito della disamina delle molte fonti che contengono riferimenti capaci di fornire indizi per la formulazione di una ipotesi, è possibile ritenere che il giureconsulto traianeo sia stato autore di un’opera di commento al pensiero dei giureconsulti del primo principato e di un lavoro intitolato digesta.

The paper faces the unresolved question of the literary production of Titius Aristo, with particular reference to the possibility that the jurist was author of notae and to the attribution of Pomponii digesta ab Aristone, cited by Paul in the fourth book of his quaestiones. Thanks to the examination of many sources that contain references capable of providing clues for the formulation of a hypothesis, it is possible to believe that Ariston was author of a work of comment on the thought of the first principate jurisconsults and of a work entitled digesta.
